How much should I ask for my beloved Vauxhall Tigra Chequers 1997(s)?Silver with air con)?

I lobve my car but I am selling it early nxt year as I want a Ford Puma now (change my mind like the wind)!.
My Tigra has a few scratches (just the normal ones for its age) its just had a new cam belt change, got MOT till June 2008 and Tax till 2008. And four new tyres? Obv id like the max for it, what can I get do you reckon? Thanks

Why is it always ford vs. chevy?

I'm looking to buy a pick up (My first car) and I was brought up believing it's chevy or nothing. Now that I'm actually checking in to it I've noticed I like the way Fords look over the newer Chevys by a mile.
I'm just wondering how did it come about that it was either a Ford or a Chevy and which ever one it was, the other one sucked.

And also if anyone has ever owned either and/or both what you thought of it/them. Facts only, no opinions. Thanks

BTW does anyone know what the name of this truck is, I saw it today and I'm dying to find out what year it is. It looked to be maybe a 80s/90s, chevy, four door, I think it was one of those that was wider over the tires and it had those circle yellow lights over the wind shield.

the rivalry between ford & chevy has been going on for a very long time...as far as car,s...let,s go back to the early 50,s when ford had their famous flat head V-8...unmatched by chevrolet for power because they would not produce a flat head in a 8 cylinder form.in fact no 8 cylinder at all until 1955 when they introduced their 265 C.I.D. overhead valve V-8...even-though the corvette was introduced in 1953 it came with a 6 cylinder only until 1955 when the 265 V-8 became available...coincidentally the same year the ford T-bird was introduced with it,s 312 C.I.D. overhead valve V-8...& so started the competition between ford & chevrolet...as far as pick up truck,s...the ford held the edge until the early to mid 1960,s...since then it,s been quite the rivalry...loyalists from either brand will swear their,s is the best...the company,s go by how many are still licensed & still on the road which seem,s to vary from year to year....I,m a chevy guy that was brought up taught that ford,s were the best...in the mid 60,s I learned that wasn't exactly true...but working on both brand,s for over 44 year,s now has shown me that both are well constructed & offer a wide variety of power plant,s...all I can tell you is you should Research the model you want & compare the competition...including Mo par & the import,s...all are producing fine vehicle,s now so buy the one you like best & will best suit your need,s.....best of luck!
