Tent Camping with small dog in Tennessee, South or North Carolina?
We are planning on going on camping this weekend and looking for a place where we can drive, we can have our dog with us, and there are easy hiking trails( where dogs allowed) and maybe a lake??
I recommend Chilhowee campground near Benton, Tennessee.
There you'll find bike trail and hiking trails which take you out to Benton Falls and the head of the Rock Creek Scenic Gorge along the top of Chilhowee Mountain.
There's a lake which offers fishing and swimming, a waterfall, and a campground.
i want to take dog camping with me,any advice?
i want to take my dog camping with me the only problem is that i cant have it in the tent because i get sick when im in a small space with a dog.(im usually fine but when im in a small space with a dog i start to feel really unwell).
Can i buy a portable kennel or something to keep my dog in at night outside the tent,also any other advice is appreciated.
Sure - depending on where you are planning to camp - I'm sure that the bears and mt lions would love to have take-out. How about a crate in your car (if it's not too hot)
